This week for my blog I am going to talk about a short story we read called Props For Faith. The story is post World War 2. The story is set in Germany. The story is written by Ursula Hegi. She focuses on German or German american people. The story is about two girls one who got adopted. Now I haven't finished reading the story quite yet but so far I think it that well so far they're just in the beginning stages of the story but I can see it being a really great story. So far this story is just basically about their life so far they talk about the girl was adopted life her name was Renate. The other girl her name is Hannah as I've been reading the story we came into this really interesting part where she calls her a gimp. That in particular is really mean because of the fact that in the past she had polio and that caused her to have a one leg shorter than the other and so Hannah when she called her a gimp that was really hurtful because I was her best friend and that's also like such a betrayal. We haven't finished the store yet but so far left the part where Hannah is really thinking like how can I get my best friend back after the rude and hurtful things I said. After Hannah said those terrible things Renate’s mother comes in the room I'm finds Renate trying then she tells her mom why she's crying then the mom yells at Hannah and tells her never to come back. That is why hands trying to figure out what to do. We have not finished yet but when we do I will write about it in another blog.
